Local Mansfield Area Benefit Events
There are many events locally if you are a music lover and you want to support a good cause or just get outdoors this mild winter. There is a Winter Walk & Talk at Goodwin State Forest in Hampton Saturday, February 18th at 10:00 am.
Natuarlist Juan Sanchez and Joshua’s Trust will take a guided walk and illustrate survival techniques described in Bernd Heinrich’s “Winter World.” Refreshments will follow at Goodwin’s Conservation Center and there wil be an opportunity to sign up for the Joshua’s Walking Group which will start in the Spring.

Saturday, February 18th
Wild Bill Project benefit concert at the First Congregational Church in Coventry.
Listen and dance to New England’s premiere Classic Rock Band-6:30-9:30 pm.
$12 tickets at the door or $10 in advance or $90 for a group of 10
Finger foods, coffee & tea.
Jambalaya, wing and soda extra.

Donations benefit the Raise the Roof Capital Campaign for the First Congregational Church.
Sunday, February 26th Joshua’s Trust Benefit Jazz Concert
at Knowlton Memorial Hall in Ashford featuring the Juniper Hill Jumpers Jazz Band. 
Jazz, Blues, Old Time tunes, Dixieland Style. 2:30 wine & food 3-5 pm Music.
Reservations $20 or pay at the door. Snow date: March 25th.
